Finch is changing the way architecture is created by leading the way into the era of generative design. Through our SaaS-platform architects all over the world can generate buildings within seconds based on their own design and style. Finch automates repetitive tasks and helps to make more informed decisions using simulations and AI, letting the architects do what they do best - designing great architecture. We are a start-up backed by some of the most experienced investors in the region and we are now looking to strengthen our tech team.
We have just started building the first version of our product and we need a Fullstack Developer to drive development of the Finch frontend, backend services and APIs, but you can also work on all other parts of the system (plugins and in the future simulations and AI). You will be an important part of the team to figure out how to best design, implement, ship and run our new features. There is a lot of freedom to choose tools and workflow.
Our ideal candidate
You love frontend development, and you stay up to date on the latest news and technology trends and keep yourself informed about current best practices. You are looking to join a smaller team where you can have a big impact on the company and its customers. You are self-organizing and able to work independently to complete tasks and projects. You are based in the Malmö region.
Ideally you have:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science (or similar)
- At least 5 years working experience
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, EC2, VPC, Lambda, Serverless, Cognito, Cloudformation, CloudFront)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Interest in learning GraphQl, WebGL and ThreeJS
- Interest in algorithms and linear algebra
- Interest in building architecture
We welcome your application even if you do not meet all of the criteria listed above, but are excited about the challenge of mastering this role. We know that skills are not static and growth is continuous, so we are excited to help you take your career to the next level at Finch.Apply
